Founders Blog Week 1: Learning till my business is in the Black

I’m $50,000 in credit card debt and it's about to get worse. I’m starting this blog to document my progress as an entrepreneur to make Pre Workout Pops profitable.  Being a business owner is the hardest thing I've ever done (besides marriage). So if you want to see what I'm learning  and how I’m growing Pre Workout Pops in real time, keep reading. If not, Bye.

I started Sam Parr’s (he sold a newsletter for 8 figures) copywriting course. The gist of the course is simple. You want to become a better writer? Copy good writers. That’s it. Now when he says copy he means write down on a piece of paper exactly what these great copywriters write. How easy. You don’t start learning music by writing your own songs. You learn great artist’s songs before writing your own. All good copy is written using the AIDA formula. Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. Hopefully, I have caught your attention and you have some interest in hearing about what I’ve learned.

The principles of copywriting are the same as content creation and sales scripts. My plan is that acquiring this skill will help with all my marketing emails, organic content and running Pre Workout Pops affiliate programs. Expect a lot of changes in the coming months. My goal by the end of the summer is to have over 1000 active affiliates that produce over 10k a month in sales. I have realized over my failed career that keeping affiliates active is difficult. In the words of Alex Hormozi, “It's not about doing your best, it's about doing what's required. And sometimes that means your best just needs to get better.”

So to all business noobs, myself included, lets go on a journey to do what is required and maybe one day we can sit across the table from one another at a 5 star restaurant, sipping champagne with a stupid grin on our faces knowing we made it.

I’m not here to preach, start a community or sell a course. I’m doing this because I believe this will help me be a better business owner. I plan on writing one of these each week and incorporating this into my content on insta and tiktok. So check out the blog here or follow me on instagram or tiktok
